Banana-Peanutbutter-Smoothie

In case of another hectic morning when there is hardly any time for breakfast, then this delicious breakfast smoothie could be your perfect breakfast alternative. Its as tasty as a hot chocolate and just as refreshing as a chilled chocolate milk. This recipe combines banana and peanut butter to a delicious, fresh and creamy smoothie, which is super fast and easy to make. At the same time the ice helps creating a smooth and refreshing consistency. Needless to mention that the Banana-Peanutbutter-Smoothie is very healthy. Elvis would love it!

The carbs in the banana can be easily absorbed and help getting our brain up to speed – perfect for a start in the day. And despite the fact that peanut butter contains fat and salt, it is actually quite good for us. It has plenty of proteins, fiber and healthy fats that are important to our body in order to functions well. Plus usually fats and protein keep us saturated longer. This means that we are less tempted to eat junk food or unhealthy snacks. And in the end eat less overall, which in turn has the pleasant side effect that its easy to drop weight. But of course peanut butter should be taken in moderation, otherwise the pleasant side effect could easily turn the other way 😉

Ingredients
  1. 1 banana
  2. 1 cup ice cubes or cold water
  3. 1/2 cup almond milk
  4. 1/4 cup Yoghurt
  5. 1 tbs peanutbutter
  6. 1 tsp cinnamon
